Cam loved sports, loved the 80s, and loved his country. He shipped off to the Navy to become a cook, to serve his shipmates by feeding them. A cook nourishes the whole crew. He never got to step aboard, so every year we send young people off toward the future he was chasing.
Five scholarships of $5,000 each, awarded this spring to local seniors. Every gift moves a student closer.
For a senior heading into military service, in honor of Cam's Navy dream.
For culinary school or a trade. Cam was going to serve his shipmates as a Navy cook.
For a student-athlete who leads on and off the field.
For a student called to ministry, Bible college or seminary.
For any local senior with a big heart and a plan.
Give a little every month and keep Cam's mission going all year, not just on event days.
Any weekend, anywhere. Fire up a grill or a fish fryer, feed your neighbors, and serve the way Cam wanted to serve his shipmates. Every plate goes to the Galley Scholarship.
Big screen, popcorn, and Cam's favorite 80s classics. Come in your best 80s gear.
Run it, walk it, or ruck it Navy-style with a pack.
Fire up the grill and serve, the way Cam wanted to serve his shipmates. Every plate goes to the Galley Scholarship.
The one that started it all, back for year two. Saturday, June 19.
We just passed $6,800. The Anchor Scholarship is almost halfway. Thank you, Cam's Crew.
Giving fees on this drive are covered by a Community Partner, so every dollar reaches a student.
